It was a very long day of travel from Alleghany County to Woodstock, to Dulles Airport, and then to Punta Cana.. No one really slept the night before, so by the time we arrived at our hotel, everyone was anxious to check out the pool and the beach and relax before our busy week begins. A problem affecting beaches in the Caribbean - too much seaweed floating in. The hotel staff has a never ending job keeping the beach clean.

Be careful not to leave your camera unattended this week. Loose cameras attract crazy chaperons!
