Our group of nine 4-H teens, two 4-H volunteers and two 4-H Agents departed from Dulles Airport around 8:30 am and arrived safely in the Dominican Republic just after noon on Tuesday. It was a very long day as no one really slept the night before, so....after dinner and our Evening Reflection meeting tonight, we sent them all to bed - and they were happy about that.
We'll work on our travel day blog tomorrow, after our three first time flyers have rested up and are ready to share their impressions of their first flight. We didn't want to disappoint our readers by not posting on our first day though.
